TipToe

Jerilyn has been tip-toeing since she learned how to walk. You are right. She doesn’t walk on her soles, but on her toes. Every1 said she has the potential to take up ballet. We didn’t bother much back then because we were very sure she would get out of that habit and walk like a normal person. However, we are quite apprehensive now as this habit has caused her toes’ skin to crack and turn reddish. All this tip-toeing is putting too much pressure on her toes. We have tried explaining, scolding, beating and rewarding when she tip-toes. Nothing works. We wonder if she will actually drop this habit or will she walk like this forever? She even tip-toes with shoes on.
